Emergency Flight: Fly At-Risk Shelter Pets Out of Overcrowded Shelters

EMERGENCY TRANSPORT: Shelter Pets at Risk Due to Overcrowding

Shelters in LA County are facing an overcrowding emergency. They urgently need to transport pets to less crowded areas to free up capacity.

Los Angeles County shelters are fighting every day to save pets’ lives, but budget cuts and increased surrenders due to last year’s wildfires and economic uncertainty have pushed them to the brink.

On March 19th, our partner, Greater Good Charities, is conducting an emergency flight to transport more than 100 pets out of the shelter to the Pacific Northwest. This flight will free up critical space and give the transported dogs and cats better chances at adoption.

We need your help to fund the flight! Sending these animals to shelters with empty spaces will give them a second chance at life AND the adoption they deserve.

Your support is crucial to get this flight off the ground—give now to help fund the rescue and save animal lives.
